World famous director David Fincher‘s new movie ‘The Social Network’ will be hitting theaters October 1st, 2010 in Canada and the United States. It will also be released Worldwide throughout the month of October.
To accompany the movie will be an awesome soundtrack created by Trent Reznor who collaborated with NIN’s Producer Atticus Ross. The Social Network soundtrack will be released digitally on Tuesday, September 28th and then again in physical form (CD, HD Blu-ray audio & vinyl) at some point in October.
Before the soundtrack is even released, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have come out with a five track sampler EP for free! In a note from Trent Reznor himself, this is what he said about the songs:
“… Musically, this all came out of our secret laboratory – electronic in basis, but mostly organic sounding. Lots of experiments and emphasis on sound fraying around the edges while focusing on the proper emotional tone for the various scenes.” – 9/16/10
