Mister Heavenly is a supergroup signed to Sub Pop made up of Nick Thorburn (Islands/The Unicorns), Honus Honus (Man Man) and Joe Plummer (Modest Mouse). To make it even more awesome, back in December Michael Cera played bass for them in Portland, whether he’s officially in the band is another question.

They’ve managed to coin their own sound “doom-wop” (doo wop and doomed love songs) and in November and December of 2010 hit the road to share their sound. Their debut album isn’t out yet, but they’re offering two tracks off the future release that you can download for free! The songs are “Mister Heavenly” and “Pineapple Girl”.

You can download the tracks by entering your e-mail here, or skip the e-mail and click here. Enjoy!
